Power Up! Annual InterHab Conference & Trade Show
Power Up! is a dynamic, three-day annual conference dedicated to inspiring, educating, and empowering professionals who work to support individuals with disabilities. This event brings together thought leaders, innovators, and change-makers in the field of IDD services, creating a unique platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and advancing inclusive practices.
The conference features keynote speakers, a variety of engaging breakout sessions, and ample networking opportunities. The Annual InterHab Art & Awards Ceremony recognizes the personal and professional achievements of Kansans with disabilities and celebrates exceptional professionals from across the region who are committed to providing the best possible outcomes for the people they serve.
It’s time to recognize the outstanding staff, people served, families, volunteers, and businesses that you work with each day. The InterHab Awards Program offers you the opportunity to thank and encourage those who go the extra mile for your agency and the people you serve.
Below you will find 2025 nomination forms and we encourage you to take time to consider those who are deserving of recognition this year. All winners will be featured in a professional video and publicly recognized at the Art & Awards Caremony during our Annual Power Up! Conference in October, in Manhattan. Traditionally, this event is the most popular and inspirational session of the year!
Please note that filming for the award winner videos will be held Monday, July 14 in Wichita and Tuesday, July 15 in Topeka. Those being interviewed for the video must be able to attend one of those filming sessions. Each winner can provide up to two family members, friends, co-workers, or associates to be interviewed on their behalf. In addition, the award-winner will be interviewed (unless they decline). There will be a maximum of three interviews conducted for each award winner.
Those unable to film at that time may be able to secure the services of OnTap Media, professional videographer. InterHab will be unable to reimburse your agency for any costs incurred for this filming. Additionally, winning organizations must submit (via email at the time of their interview) a minimum of 20 high-quality photos of the award winner by the film date. All winners will receive two complimentary tickets to the Art & Awards Ceremony and a downloadable copy of the awards video.
Please consider nominating staff, people served, volunteers, or businesses who you feel have gone above and beyond the call of duty. There is not a limit to the number of submissions you may submit – simply make extra copies of the attached forms as needed. You won’t want to miss this opportunity that comes but once a year! Remember all submissions must be received by June 2, 2025 and must be InterHab Members.

Art:
Each year at the Annual InterHab Art & Awards Ceremony, we honor our award recipients by gifting them with artwork created by people served by our members.
The selected artists join award winners on the stage and present their pieces to the winners. Artists also receive a gift card at that time.
The Art & Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, October 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the Manhattan Conference Center. Each winning artist will receive a ticket for themselves and one guest to attend the luncheon at no cost. Others are welcome to purchase a ticket for $35.
How to submit artwork:
Please complete the form below and submit to Travis Walsh at twalsh@interhab.org by June 2, 2025.
Please submit only one entry per person. All art must be signed by the artist. Selections are made by a team of judges. If the art is selected for use as an award, it will become property of InterHab. If the art is not selected and you would like the artwork returned, please indicate this on the submission form and send your art in a returnable, mailable tube or plan to make arrangements to pick up your art from InterHab following the judging.

Who should attend? All provider staff are encouraged to attend. Breakout sessions include topics appropriate for DSPs, CEOs, and everyone in between.
