Job Description

Substitutes assist the people we serve with meeting their daily needs. You have the opportunity to share in their success and support them through their struggles while building lasting relationships. The position of Substitute supports their co-workers by providing coverage as needed where it is needed. Start wage: $14.00 per hour. May be eligible for additional $1 to $2 per hour shift differential for hours worked in residential. Raise at three months. Substitutes may receive a $1000 bonus for completing required training sessions within first year and may be eligible for retention bonuses through their second year of employment. Substitutes may be eligible for shift differential.

Supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities with activities of daily living. Duties include providing/assisting with personal hygiene support, transportation, supervision and training, record keeping and light household cleaning.

This is a substitute position so schedule and hours vary based on employee’s availability and the needs of the clients. It is expected for a substitute to be available 15-25 hours per week to provide coverage and assistance.
