Develop and achieve fund raising objectives as set forth by the TARC and the TARC Foundation Boards.  Ensure a consistent and stable source of revenue to support the programs and services of TARC and to fulfill TARC’s mission.  Oversee and diversify TARC’s funding sources through successful special events, sponsorships, donor cultivation, grants, general contributions, planned gifts, estate planning and marketing.  Provide overall supervision and coordination for the Development Division.

Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications and/or Marketing, Business Administration or related field or requisite experience.
  • Minimum of two years experience in planning and coordinating Special Events. Excellent interpersonal skills, public speaking and ability to interact with diverse populations.
  • Some evening and weekend availability is imperative.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Kansas Driver’s License, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record as well as maintain eligibility for TARC’s standard insurance policy.
