Wednesday, February 22, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
About the Session: The number of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) continues to increase. Many individuals with IDD are now living longer and outliving their parental caregivers. As individuals with IDD age, it is important to consider their wishes, preferences, and needs across the lifespan. This webinar will discuss the following: (1) aspects of advance care planning, (2) challenges to advance care planning, (3) the benefits of advance care planning, and (4) how to support individuals with IDD, families, and caregivers with planning.
