About the Course:
This session will offer an overview of the shared living program, covering the process of selecting shared living arrangements, as well as the roles and responsibilities of shared living providers, contractors, and individuals involved.
About the Presenter(s):
Connie Keeling, GoodLife Innovations
Connie is highly skilled at connecting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) with compassionate, professional families eager to share their life experiences. With over 30 years of experience, she has been a dedicated advocate for and supporter of families throughout Kansas. Her background includes roles as an in-home family therapist, Executive Director of the Douglas County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program, past President and current board member of the Kansas CASA Association, and Program Manager at KVC Behavioral Healthcare. She earned a Ph.D. in Developmental and Child Psychology, with a focus on Behavior Analysis, from the University of Kansas.
The link for live courses is shared with those members who have registered for the 2025 Virtual Training Package and cannot be accessed from the main website. The 2025 InterHab Virtual Training Package features 2-3 live courses per month from January to September. These training sessions will be recorded and available to those registered.
