This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or significant relevant experience, in Management, Business Administration, Human Services, or a related field. Prefer two to three years of related job and administrative experience. Working knowledge of the Developmental Disabilities Reform Act, Article 63 and Article 64, which govern Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) required. Valid driver’s License and the ability to be covered by corporate vehicle insurance. Must have strong leadership skills, initiative, public relations experience, negotiating abilities, as well as writing and computer skills. Must maintain a professional manner and practice complete confidentiality.

The CDDO Administration Director will ensure corporate compliance with Article 64 as well as develop and implement impartial CDDO systems that serve intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals in Linn, Anderson, and Miami Counties. Employee will ensure compliance with the current KDADS/CDDO Contract, KDADS Policy, and Contracts with the affiliated Community Service Providers. The CDDO Administration Director provides supervision to the Eligibility Specialist. The CDDO Administration Director is directly responsible to the Executive Director.

  1. Ensure that Single Point of Entry, Eligibility Determination, BASIS, and referral to services are implemented according to regulation, contract, and policy. Supervise CDDO staff and direct the day-to-day activities of the CDDO.
  2. Ensure good communication exists and share any relevant information that may/will affect Affiliates. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient systems to complete CDDO functions in a timely manner and with involvement from stakeholders.
  3. Ensure compliance with all provisions in Article 64 to ensure efficient delivery of services in the CDDO area.
  4. Ensure compliance with the current KDADS/CDDO contract.
  5. Maintain and update CDDO policies as necessary, according to regulatory/policy protocol established, as well as ensuring local CDDO policies are in place as necessary and consistent with KDADS/CDDO requirements.
  6. Participate in the completion of required reports, committee requests, and KDADS documentation, including but not limited to crisis funding requests.
  7. Develop, update, and monitor Affiliation Agreements.
  8. Chair the Council of Community Members/Quality Assurance Committee and ensure all functions of the Council are implemented according to KDADS regulations and guidelines.
  9. Coordinate the gatekeeping functions for outreach support and admission to Public and Private Intermediate Care Facilities.
  10. Provide professional representation of the corporation to other community professionals through meetings and contacts.
  11. Complete Case Transfer agreements accurately and route according to policy.
