2026 Membership Dues

Dues are calculated using your organization's salaries and wages paid to full-time and part-time employees for the most recent full year of operation. Wages paid to individuals served should not be included in this total.  Dues are calculated as follows: - For all organizations, dues are equal to 1.2% of audited staff salary from the most recent full year of operation; - For organizations with audited staff salaries above $1 million, dues are 1.2% of audited salaries for the first $1 million and .1% for all audited wages over $1 million. - Minimum dues are $800.00.

Dues Payment Preferences

Dues may be paid in the following manner: 1) Annual (due by 1/1/2026) 2) Semi-Annual (installments due 1/1/2026 and 7/1/2026) 3) Quarterly (installments due 1/1/2026, 4/1/2026, 7/1/2026 and 10/1/2026)
How will you be paying your dues?(Required)

Members will receive invoices for their first 2026 dues payment in December 2025. Annual dues/first installment payments will be due January 1, 2026. Organizations will be invoiced for all subsequent payments.

*Please note that InterHab participates in ANCOR’s “100% membership” plan. InterHab members will be assessed an additional amount to cover their portion of this membership plan. Individual portions are calculated based on the organization’s percentage of InterHab’s total dues revenue. This additional amount will be invoiced with the organization’s first payment of 2026.

Commitment to Ethical Practices

InterHab, as an association, and its member organizations commit to the following principles in fulfilling responsibilities to individuals and families served, in interactions with one another, and in our role as community partners. We endeavor to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, transparency, and accountability.

As a condition of membership in InterHab, each member organization shall:

  1. Ethical Conduct and Organizational Integrity

Develop, adopt, and actively implement a written, organization-specific code of ethical conduct. This code shall be made available to InterHab upon request and maintained as part of membership records.

  2. Person-Centered Supports and Services

Provide quality, person-centered supports designed to meet the unique needs of each individual, with emphasis on promoting dignity, independence, choice, and the greatest possible level of freedom and self-determination. Services shall be delivered with integrity, compassion, and respect for individual differences.

  3. Privacy and Confidentiality

Respect and protect the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of all persons served, in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and professional standards.

  4. Professional Responsibility and Organizational Trust

Conduct all activities in a manner that fosters trust and mutual respect among InterHab member organizations. Members shall safeguard information and refrain from actions that knowingly misrepresent, undermine, or compromise the integrity of InterHab or its members.

  5. Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest

Exercise professional judgment and give preference to ethical and professional responsibilities over personal, financial, or organizational gain. Members shall avoid conflicts of interest and disclose potential conflicts when they arise.

  6. Commitment to Ethical and Responsible Practices

Advocate for and uphold practices that prioritize the health, safety, rights, and well-being of individuals served above organizational, financial, or administrative interests.

  7. Collaboration and System Strengthening

Work cooperatively with other InterHab members to advance shared knowledge, innovation, and best practices, and to strengthen a coordinated, community-based system of locally responsive supports across Kansas.

  8. Protection Against Unethical or Illegal Practices

Promote ethical conduct throughout the system and take appropriate action to prevent, address, or report unethical, illegal, or harmful practices, consistent with applicable laws and professional responsibilities.

  9. Non-Discrimination and Equity

Demonstrate a commitment to non-discrimination and equitable treatment in all organizational practices, and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, national origin, or any other protected status under applicable law.

  10. Stewardship and Compliance

Serve as responsible stewards of public and private resources. Members shall operate in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, licensure requirements, auditing standards, and regulatory obligations, and shall conduct operations in a transparent and accountable manner.

  11. Accountability and Membership Standing

Member organizations acknowledge that adherence to these ethical principles is a condition of InterHab membership. Failure to uphold these standards may result in review and potential action by InterHab, including corrective action, suspension, or termination of membership, in accordance with InterHab bylaws and policies.
