Multi Community Diversified Services, Inc. (MCDS) has provided community-based support
services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) for 50 years. Do

Purpose Statement
We are looking for a capable, experienced individual to take on the role of Director of
Residential Supports in McPherson, KS.

Requirements
You must be a fun energetic individual who thrives on a fast paced environment. You must
possess the ability to manage multiple priorities at once and the soft skills of managing
relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

5+ years of experience managing individuals providing services to individuals with I/DD, autism,
the elderly or serious mental illness.

Knowledge and understanding of state regulatory agency rules and operations and a
commitment to community-based support for persons with disabilities.

Responsibilities
The Residential Director directly supervises the support services provided in the community
which allow our clients to live as independently as possible. The position is responsible for
providing excellent services to our clients, managing and motivating the management team
within the Department, budgeting and operational oversight of daily service delivery.

Responsibilities include interactions with external stakeholders including clients, families,
guardians, county and state staff.
