This webinar will discuss the processes and procedures CDDOs and CSPs face when getting zoning, building and other permits required by city and county governments. These processes are encountered when opening, moving, expanding or changing the use of buildings and land used to support individuals with developmental disabilities. There will be emphasis on the ways group homes are subject to local zoning and other laws.

This session will also give an overview of the authority local governments have to regulate land and buildings and the extent to which state and federal laws limit that authority.
